i feel like crying

THANK YOU GIRLS SO MUCH FOR YOUR ADVICE AND SUPPORT! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

FH left her a message to call him, and I am not going to respond to her. Hopefully all works out with a little drama as possible.

Re: i feel like crying

Well why not just make them both FG's? I was an FG in my sister's wedding when I was 8 years old, I don't see anything wrong with it. That way the 8 year old can help make sure the 3 year old actually gets down the aisle.

I'd just write back something along the lines of:

'Well ok, but I would really like your daughter AND Isabella in the BP, so they can both be FG's.'

I agree, this sounds like the best way to deal with it

Can you maybe call her instead? I don't see anything wrong with her switching to a FG, but it would bother me that she just made that decision to switch her part in the wedding without contacting you first. Uhhh, families!!

Re: i feel like crying

my neice will be 8 (turning 9 the month after our wedding) and she is our Jr BM. and FH has his older nephews as Jrs as well.

our FGs will both be 7
and our RBs will be 1 1/2 and 9.

as much as age has something to do with their part in the bridal party, its what you want them to be.

this is how ours worked out for us. i wanted 4 kids total, 2 Jrs, 1 FG, 1 RB and FH wanted all 7 neices and nephews, so now its 3 Jrs, 2 FGs and 2 RBs.

not to sound like a bridezilla-, but do what you want. i think its rude of her to do that to you. if its about money (paying for the dress) i would spite myself and pay for her dress myself, just so she is in the wedding the way i want her to be.

Could you maybe call her? Just be like 'hey I got your FB message, and I thought I'd give you a call b/c it's easier for me than to type everything out!'

and then just explain that you want them both to be in it, and if they're both FG then that works for you too.

Re: i feel like crying

I have no idea what her reasoning is and even though we are calling her our JR BM we are clearly going to put her in an age appropriate dress!

FH already called her and left her a message b/c she didnt pick up. I am going to let him deal with her b/c I have no energy and i am too emotional right now. FB is not the way to communicate!!!!

She is supposed to walk down the aisle with our jr gm who will be 10 -- he can not be a RB he will be gigantic! -- he is already tall to begin with!

If she wants her out- that is her decision. She better explain to her daughter that 'mommy said no' instead of blaming it on FH and I!

ita, this sounds like a good way to go about it.... i just thinkt hat shes a little bitter about family situations that dont cern you really but shes just kinda taking it out on you a little

yeeah. That's messed up.

Perhaps try speaking to her in person or calling her to talk about this. If you can't get a hold of her that way then i'd stop responding to her on fb so she HAS to speak to you about it in person.
