I feel really behind

Everyone tells me that I'm rushing things, but when I hear you girls saying you booked all these things I feel really behind.

So far we have the hall, my dress, bridesmaid dresses are being made, hair and make up trial done, and booked, tiara and veil bought, photo,video, florist,band,cocktail and ceremony music.

We don't have the honeymoon, invites, shoes, and undergarments, tuxes, limos, and I know I'm forgetting a lot of things...

Am I really behind???

you are so not really behind! You're doing fine!

Since you are in June, I'd do limo's next definitely. Try to get that done - before the wedding & prom rush ...

Start thinking about your honeymoon - what area of the world you want to go - do some internet research to learn about the places and the different lodging accomodations. You could probably wait until January/February before you need to book anything.

Now is a good time to start thinking about the 'details' of the wedding - not booking anything, but just brainstorming ideas and laying out your budget for details - something I comepletely didn't do and am now regretting - think about favors, cocktail napkins, matchbooks, menu cards, place cards, programs, something to throw at church, emergency baskets for bathroom etc, etc .... think about what you picture on your tables that day and around your wedding and start gathering ideas ...

A little at a time goes a long way!

Actually my temple gives the matchbooks and napkins to us, with yamulkes....Favors I think we're doing a cigar roller for the last few hours of our wedding, and that I already called up and made sure when I need to book them by....bathroom baskets, the florist gave us a list, and I have tha to look at...also, we already contacted my travel agent, and he is getting back to us on prices, but I don't know how quickly FH wants to book...
Limo's my temple is a few mins from my house, so I don't think I need one to get there, just getting back..not sure what we want to do about limos....ugh!!!

I'm close to 3 months ahead of you and I have hardly any of that stuff either. If you're behind, I'm screwed

You are not behind! These boards tend to create that feeling because all you hear about all day is how much everyone got done. You have to remember the women on here (including myself) are real planners and are really after that extra 'something' for the wedding and are investing more time and energy into the planning - a great thing, no doubt.

I used to have anxiety after reading the '05 to do list' and I had to put it in perspective and made a month to month to do list that goes on the fridge the first of each month. You will get everything done - don't worry...

you can def. take care of the honeymoon about 6 months before, I would just research now all these places and see what appeals to you

I am in the same month as you and I think you are on track. I have all the things you mentioned and the HM, limos and shoes.

I am in the process of working on hair and make up trials.

I have 5 mths and havent done photo or video or limos yet
i am behind you are fine!!!
