There are 3 girls that I used to work with that just declined coming to my wedding. I guess I should've known when the 3 of them didn't come to my shower either and made no effort to apologize afterwards. I dont know why I'm surprised or sad. But it really hurts my feelings that the 3 of them just dont care about me anymore. I know we dont see each other the way we used to when we worked together and I had a falling out with one of the girls, but I guess its safe to say the other 2 have taken her side. I thought we worked it out...i guess not. Now I'm sad...

I'm sorry . I know how important this wedding and evrything that it entails is to you and your loved ones but that's just it...... the people who truly love and care about you will move heaven and earth to be with you on your day. Try not to let a group of ex-coworkers bring you down. These girls will probably not have much impact on your life and future and allthough rejection always hurts.... it's not always waranted. Sometimes we give other people too much control over our emotions, even if they are people that we are not close to. Try to focus on the people who really make a difference in your life. Aww sweetie.. Later for them. They are the ones missing out. Co-workers can be weird sometimes. You can never tell if they are a 'true' friend or not.

Don't let them ruin anything for you, they're not worth it. Instead, plot your revenge after you get back from your honeymoon.
Seriously though, if they didn't come to the shower and didn't mention anything about it, would you have really wanted them there at the wedding?
If there's anyone else from work who's going, you can get them super cool souvenirs from your honeymoon to make the others jealous.

That is so true!!!! You really can't tell with co-workers...some are so phony....But don't worry...its their loss...you'll have a great wedding...don't let them spoil your happiness!!!!

In my last job there was a big group of us who were very tight. It has taken some time, but now I have figured out that only one or two of them are my true friends. They are the only ones that have stuck by me...even though we don't see each other often and live very different lives. Unfortunately sometimes it takes major events to make us realize who are the important people in our lives.
