I know it is kind of selfish but all the flyers are going around work for all the upcoming showers and goodbyes and stuff. No one has even mentioned to me about doing mine so I don't think I am going to have one. I don't even care about presents or anything, I just feel so left out.
------THe flyer went out. I am not having my own shower but they are taking up a collection for a gift certificate to be given to me at another celebration. I am just happy to be acknowledged!!!

Don't feel sad. Of course you wouldnt see flyers about your own shower. I'm sure they are putting something together and making it a surprise.

They've never done a surprise here before and this is my second year. They always put out a flyer.

Yup! I'm a guidance counselor, a leave replacement, so I'm pretty much out of a job, I've been in the district for 4 years and in this particular school for 3, makes me feel like a loser I'm the only one not getting a shower.

im in the same boat-- this week is the last full week of classes and nothing yet--- but i went to a shower at work two weeks ago for a girl getting married the day before me-- im feeling bummed out
