i feel so bad

i feel so bad

ok so i work in an insurance office and i often call people to remind them of there payments so there policy dont cancel on them and then they dont have insurance.

so anyway i talked to a lady yesterday and she barely has any money cant pay her $45.00 monthly payment for her homeowners. Then she goes on to tell me that her son is 38 sick with cancer and she is paying all the bills and that if it wasnt for the church that she wouldnt be able to even eat . bc she doesnt even have money for food

so i called my fh and told him and he told me to take a couple $$$ nd pick up a few thing at the grocery store and he will drop them off to her. I also told my boss and they are going to pay her insurance this month for her and give her $100.00 gc to shoprite.

thats really sweet what you did and what your boss is doing- most companies wouldnt bother

That was sooooo generous! WHat a sweet and caring act of kindness! You are an angel to that poor lady! God bless you! That is one of the nicest things i have heard of!

I've never heard a story like this. It's sooo nice to hear there are ppl like you out there. I'm really sorry to hear about the woman and I really hope this story is true and she didn't take advantage of your kind heart. Kudos to you!!!

I dont mean to be a damper, but there are people who make that stuff up to get out of a bill - I would hear it all the time when a patient kept an insurance check

I really hope this is genuine bc u shouldnt be taken advantage of

to you for having a big heart!

well usually i am the same way, i am always skeptical about things like this too, bc if i am going to help someone, i want it to be someone who really needs it, but she told my boss what church she goes too, and he looked up the phone # for the church and called to verify. Luckily the receptionist was very nice and went on to tell my boss that they have been helping her since her son got sick
