I fell off the wagon...

I fell off the wagon...

I have been doing so well on my diet... I had lost 12 pounds and was so excited BUT then today I had a really bad day FH and I went to a bris and a baby naming and I ate potato salad and cake and then we went to an italian restaurant for dinner. I did not make good choices. I hope tomorrow will be better.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Oh please woman!!!! Every now and then you have to let yourself have a 'cheat day.' Just don't let those days turn into weeks.

You will be fine and you're doing great! 12lbs is a lot of progress!!! That's awesome.

Congrats on losing 12 pounds!!! That is an AWESOME start!
Don't feel bad about today, just move on from it! Don't let it defeat your diet, just get right back on your diet tomorrow!!! You have worked way too hard to let one day ruin everything!
Good Luck!

Its okay to do that once in a while. Just not everyday its taken me 5 months and I've only lost 15 lbs - I have a day like that at least once a week
Just keep at it you will do great

dont deprive yourself too much thats what makes people get off their diets when they think they cant have things. just get back on track tomorrow. you can do it sweetie!

remember everything is ok in moderation

Tomorrow is another day. These things happen. Brush it off, learn from it and start new tomorrow. Do not let yourself feel guilty for EATING. Just try to make better choices tomorrow. You lost 12 lbs! That's an accomplishment! Next time you pick up a turkey... carry it around the store, so you can quantify how big your accomplishment is.

HMMM I didn't think about the turkey idea but that is such a good one. I think its hard because I am so overweight that losing 12 pounds is nothing. No one has noticed yet so I think it is getting me down that I cheated. You are all right tomorrow back to eating healthy!

First, congrats on the 12 pounds!!!!!!!!! Do you know that's 48 STICKS OF BUTTER????????????

(I like to use that analogy in my meeting)

Second, don't beat yourself up over one day. The best thing you can do is get back on track first thing tomorrow morning. Remember, potato salad, cake, and italian restaurants are part of life. You find ways to deal with them.

Don't let the molehill become a mountain

You have to keep your body working... so to do this once in a while is good. Congrats on your loss to date...don't let this X day discourage you at all.

ita, every now and then you need to treat yourself. usually on fridays i allow myself a 'treat' like maybe an ice cream cone or a candy bar.
