I felt bad for my FH....

he invited a couple, he knew the guy for like 14 years. He is a bartender at a local bar, my FH has been going to since he was like 15. We've hung out with them, and actually went out with them this past new years (the night we got engaged). We saw him saturday and he said no we can't go, money's tight, him and his girlfriend (they ave no intentions of ever getting married) bought a house, etc.

My FH had a feeling he would not take 1 day off to go to our party. FH has always tipped him well (because he considered him a friend), and called to hangout, birthday, and see how feeling after surgery, etc.

He's so hurt that after all these years of knowing him, he flaked out.

That stinks...a big to fh

yeah I think he learned that. He even told him how he felt it was F*@#-up. We told him months ago the date of the e-party. (he only bartends 1 night a week - switch for anther night.)

anyway, thanks for hearing me vent.
