This was one of the decisions that I was constantly debating over. We finally decided to go to the Royal Hideaway at Playa del Carmen. I am so excited- I was cheesy and went with the 'Royal Romance' package but I figured- we're only having one honeymoon! Thanks to all of you, it was all your posts that helped me pick it.

YEAY! Congrats! We're also doing the Roayl Romance and honestly, I am SO looking forward to dinner on the beach and that bottle of champagne...it's our HM only once...since I get to go first, I'll make sure to post a detailed review!

Please do!!! The beach dinner and champagne were the reasons I went with it also- it would have been cheaper if we bought our own bottle and packed a cooler- but you only live once!

Oh and the robes and the spa products...ahhh! We're also doing a couples massage on the beach...I love the beach!
I bet you can't wait to go...I know I can't!

Sure. You'll have a great time.
Also, be sure to go off site on some of the tours. FI and I did not do this but when I went with a girlfriend we took the ATV tour through the 'jungle' and the full day tour to Xel-Ha (water park) & Tulum (Mayan ruins).
The on site spa is pretty good too.
I am really interested in the ATV tour and Tulum, are the tours expensive?
