I finally broke down this morning (updates with more to come)

Original post by BKtoLI

and cried my head off.

It's going to take all of my strength not to cry all day today, my only saving grace is that the FILs are here to distract me.

Between my mother being sick, my florist standing me up, my dress being butchered, my MOH continuing her silence in not getting back to me at all, the knowledge that nothing has been done about a shower at all, and an argument I had with my brother and SIL (which has now blown over and we're back to normal again), I just couldn't take it anymore.

It has seriously been the week from hell, and it seemed like everytime I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Friday was the only good time I had so far, even with the news I had to deal with that day. So for that, I thank you guys for being out with me and giving me a few hours to forget about things.

My brother is going this morning to see my MOH and my aunt. I told him and my SIL to please tell her to contact me because this is driving me nuts. It makes me feel like no one gives a damn 3 months before the wedding. My mother has even tried telling my aunt suggestions because she feels bad.

Leslie, you know we're living parallel lives, so I know you understand. I was trying to keep it together all week, but I lost it today. I don't know how I can keep it together yet especially when I have to go yell at the bridal salon later. Ladies, please wish me strength, because I am at the breaking point.

Re: I finally broke down this morning (Lord give me strength!!)

I had a meltdown recently for reasons I won't get into........Let me just say that it felt WONDERFUL to cry and let it all out......everything that has been building up inside of me for the past few months......I sincerely hope that you feel better and that things improve for you, Janna! If you ever want to talk, I'm here...

Oh Janna I'm so sorry!!!

But I am a believer in crying and letting out your frustrations. Sometimes that's the only way you'll feel better. One or even several cries can do wonders. Sometimes we're all so caught up in trying to be strong that we forget we're only human and sometimes just crying and venting will make you feel better. I'm here if you need me!!! FM if you need to talk.
