I finally did it! I learned to play Someone Saved My Life Tonight on the piano!
Took me a month
So far I can do Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Tiny Dancer, and I Guess Thats Why They Call It The Blues.
Next is Bennie and the Jets... that one hurts my fingers

Awesome! I know how hard it is to play the piano. I'm a music teacher and I had to learn WHILE teaching because I always avoided it! But stick with it, you'll get it. Stretch your fingers everyday and they won't hurt when you play Bennie and the Jets

why all Elton John songs? just a fan? btw, my fh always thinks 'tiny dancer' sounds like 'tony danza' & sings that instead ( he knows the real words)

I used to take piano lessons when I was a kid and all I ever played is Classical music. Then I stopped playing for a few years. Recently I got an Elton John piano book because he is my FAVORITE and I am starting to play again. It came back to me so fast! But I probably shouldn't have started again with such hard songs
