i kept forgetting but i REALLY needed to make appointments w florists b/c our year-till-wedding date is FRIDAY and i want to see what florists are doing right now to get ideas...
so i finally made 3 appointments today...with flower michele, verbena, and la blossom. YAAAAAY, i feel so much better that i finally called and set times and dates to meet w them.
does anyone recommend anyone else (w reasonable prices) in nassau or western suffolk?
and also, what questions should i be asking? i have no idea what i'm doing, or what i even want for that matter!!
any ideas/suggestions would be really helpful, and TIA!!

Good for you! I know, I was dreading this one too. I only met w/ 2 so far, but they like to hear a budget $. I didn't know what mine was, but just didn't want to spend too much. I brought a bunch of pictures that I found on the web. Also maybe bring a pic of your dress and the BM dresses, so they can get the style you're going for.

i went with flower michele, out of those i met with they gave me the best quote and i connected best with them (John).
it would be helpful if you know your color scheme.

If you dont find what you want after these three, try Burtons and pedastals and flowers by brian. Although i think the last two may be pricey- i don't know. But Burtons has awesome prices.

TOTALLY THINK YOU MADE THE PERFECT SELECTIONS!!! I've been everywhere....Verbena and FM are my top 2 right now....My FSIL and FBIL went with LA Blossoms and they LOVED HER!!!!
I would also try Roots,Flowers and TReasures in Port Jeff...I thought they were great...no prices yet though
