I finally made my hotel reservation at the Sheraton Long Island Hotel

in Hauppauge. Has anyone ever stayed there before?

I stayed there a few years ago for a night. It wasn't for a wedding, but everything was good.

No complaints!!

oh no! not having hot water is awful...i hope my guests don't have that problem this November - i blocked rooms for my wedding there also. i stayed over with my mom after a bridal showcase earlier in the year and it was great. The bar/restaurant area in the lobby is great, and the rooms are comfy and nicely decorated. I booked the bi-level suite for that night, and worked it out so i'll be paying the normal room block rate for it. i suggest asking to see if you can work something out like this...probably depends how many guests you have staying there.
