After a month and a half of being harassed, FH and I registered at bed bath and beyond. I had no idea it was so much fun! I did go a little scanner happy though They were so nice there and the lady followed us around and brought us water and pretzels, she even offered to open the store early if we didnt' want to deal with the crowds. Where did you guys register?

Congrats Jess!!!! That's so exciting! I'm really eager to register too but I (because I'm greedy) I'm not doing it before my Eparty b/c I wan tthe CASH
Anyway, prob start w/ Fortunoff, then hit up William and Sonoma, then either Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens and things ....i dunno...if it were up to FH we'd register at Best Buy and Target LOL

Congrats on the registry!! I love the scanner thingy although it's a huge issue over who gets to scan I registered at Macy's and Bloomingdales. Personally, Bloomingdales is way too expensive for me to ask my guests to shop at, but when you register for $10,000 worth of items they give you this awesome bag with makeup and gift certificates and the In Style Weddings book. Trust me, it's not hard to get up to $10,000. I only did it for the book!

Thanks! I got complete control of the scanner! I think FH was scared of it, I hit a button and it made a funny sound and he freaked out a little bit, lol. Good to know about that bloomingdales registry. Thanks!

thats the only thing i could do was register. and it was so fun, so enjoy it.
I registered at macy's and target. I am not getting fine china so i skipped fortonoff and i don't think i have ever shopped in blooms in my life IoI which is horrible.
My family are more into the upscale things and my fh is into the good quality but best deal of things so i played into their likes where to shop. Just try to think of that for your guests because i know most people are not going to spend oodles of money on our bridal shower so i can accept that (rather get the money at the wedding) so just make sure you consider your guests budgets.
Crate and Barrel i have heard is really nice to register in, but i think i went into that store once but i will check it out sometime in the following months.

lol, well we actually started this wedding planning thing where we had a 50/50 input. However...everytime he disagrees with something I want he loses percentages, we're down to 70/30 now and the wedding is still 2 years away! Home Depot is definitely not an option I don't think he wants to see 80/20, it's not pretty. Still can't figure out why he called me a bridezilla

Nope, I guess he didn't get the memo. But it's just an unspoken fact that I make all the decisions after I let him pick out the carpet for the bedroom. Just picture a smurf exploding, that's what my bedroom carpet looks like. Everytime he tries to tell me his idea is better I remind him of the carpet and then I win.
