I finally said yes to the dress!!

So after a lot of thought about the dress that I found in NYC (see here for last post ) I went to Helen's Bridal because it also sells Justin Alexander dresses. They did not have the same dress but they had one very similar to it that had the same exact top but not the organza bottom. The women at Helen's are all so nice and helpful and although there was a slight problem with price-matching the dress, they were as helpful as they could be.

After staring in the mirror for about an hour (ha!) I decided that the dress really was beautiful, gave me a nice shape and was a perfect price that I knew I wouldn't be able to beat for the quality I was getting.My mom is ecstatic about it and got teary-eyed again! Although the dress is nothing like I had thought it would be, I think it really does fit me well and shows off what I wanted it to.

Hooray! One outfit down...and now on to finalizing my color choices. I'm thinking a horizon blue for the outfits and cream and light pink flowers to match.

actually (and shockingly!) the wrap came with it! I'm unsure if I will use it or not...I haven't seen it in person yet so that I will have to decide on when it comes in!
