I finally vented my frustration to my coworker

So I didn't talk to her yesterday when she came in LATE. And she asked why and the reason I gave her was that I didn't sleep well. I had to stay at a hotel because of the strike. I live in Queens. The fight just escaladed all day and this was my last email to her.

I am sick and tired and today was like the last straw for me. My mom and I have to make concessions to get here during the strike and Stephen, Richard and you couldn’t get here on time. And you live what, 20 block away. That is totally ridiculous. And if you think I’m wrong that’s your opinion but it’s definitely not fair. Yes life’s not fair but neither is this place!

And let me tell you something I feel so much better now!

I have that happen in my place. People that work in the city (20 blocks away) didn't show up. Very frustrating.

F them all! I can't stand some of my co-workers. They are so unprofessional and when you stand up to them then all of a sudden your a witch. Good for you. Let them know that your not going to put up with their crap!

Her lying response was that her and her boyfriend woke up and smelled gas so they had to wait for someone to check it out. The reason I know she's lying is because of the following reasons:

1. This has happened before and she called the office right away

2. She calls when she's got a stomach ache and will be late (you know when he's going to the bathroom)

3. Even if she didn't call she would have come in and that would have been the 1st thing she said to anyone.

You have to know her to understand. She makes a big deal out of everything. And tells everyone anything and everything that happens. She didn't and to me that = lying.
