I flew in from Florida last night and it happened....

As most of you know I had to go to Fla. Friday for my sisters High School Graduation. Well I got back last night and FH met me at the airport with a huge bouquet of roses and calla lilys(my favorite and what my bouquet is will be made of). On the way home he asked me if I wanted coffee and to take a ride(just to get away from the kids, every night we go to Dunkin Dounuts for coffee and a ride down to the nautical mile)Anyhow, we drove down the woodcleft to the pier and he parked, which was odd because we never park just drive by. So we get out and he walks me down to the water and we were watching a police boat looking for something in the water talking about what a horrible weekend he had without me home. Then he hugged me and handed me a card from the flowers and told me, 'oh yeah here's your card from the flowers'! I opened it up and it said, 'Antoinette, Will you Marry me? Paul (smiley face was on the card )and handed me my I thought I was gonna die. I didnt think he was ever gonna give that ring to me,it's been sitting in the cabinet forever. Last Memorial Day we went to an airshow on Jones Beach and he took me to the same spot and handed me a dog tag he had made up at the Army station that said, ' Will you marry me?' but told me that as soon as he could get me a ring he'd be asking me again the right way! Yeah Even though we've already planned the big wedding and are eloping next week in Vegas I feel like I belong now. Just wanted to share. I leave to go back to Fla. tommorow night to drop the boys off with my mom and we leave the 31st.
