I found an apartment!!!!

So FH and I have been looking for an apartment and were seeing a lot of not so good places (some didn't even have closets) and we were using a real estate person.

Anyway, last Friday FH was walking down my block (I still live at home) and saw a person who looked to be the super of a buidling accross the street and decided to ask him if any apartments were available. It turns out they had a great 1 bedroom, in our price range, available, we checked it out, loved it, sent in an application, got approved and they are sending us the lease tomorrow. I am so excited!!! They gave us the option of either July 15 or Aug. 1, I took Aug since there is way too much to do to move by next weekend.

I just wanted to share my good news!!!!

CONGRATS!!!!! FH and I haven't really started looking, but I think we are going to need a broker too.
Any suggestions for the Nassau area?

Thanks, sorry I dont have any broker suggesitons, we were looking in Westchester and actually found this without a broker and lucked out and didn't have to pay a fee.
