Hey Christina..I was also looking into Jade mountain..however I'd advise you to read trip advisor before booking. Because of the open wall many creatures come into your room..some of the things mentioned in peoples reviews were: killer spiders, gecos, MANY mosquitos, and bats...afterall the hotel is situated in the jungle. therefore, I am now looking into other places. If you are looking for infinity pools you should check out greece/santorini/crete. but if you aren't scared by any creepy crawlies..then by all means GO! it definetly looks amazing

sorry..i re-read what i wrote..I don't mean to burst your bubble. I just did A LOT of homework on different places and I thought you should know. I was bummed when I read the reviews.

I stayed at Ladera in St. Lucia, which also has an open wall and while yes, there are bugs and geckos and the occasional treefrog or bird that you'll find in your room, don't let this deter you from an amazing experience. None of the bugs we encountered bit us, in fact I didn't even see 1 mosquito or spider there, You will see bats at night OUTSIDE but they're actually a good thing - they eat the bugs! The netting around the bed also kept everything out 100%.
