This in fact is to help a friend of mine who is trying to have a baby. If you don't know or haven't heard me talk about my friend Becky (Rebecca Morales), who after making a brave decision to be a single parent via invitro fertilization got pregant this time last year. Evan was a healthy fetus and Becky made it through her pregancy up until she was 37 and a half weeks. Unfortunately Evan was still born as a result of an umbilical cord accident.
After the pain and anguish of these past months, Becky has decided to try again via invitro. But the costs as you can imagine are exorbitant. Trying to offset the costs, Becky so bravely told her story to this website Sher Fertility Institute. They were running a competition to pay for a round of treatment to the individuals who got the most votes. (If you don't know a round a treatment is over $10K). Becky's story got her in the top 10 and now all she needs is votes.
Please click this link, read Rebecca's story and vote for her. I always tell her how proud I am her bravery and tenacity and this is just another shining example.
