I'm still having teeth issues; I've been undergoing a root canal for 5 months now! the dentist finally gave up and is sending me to an oral surgeon for an apico...
I'm also getting a wisdom tooth pulled at the same time, since they are already going to be in there hurting me.
Not looking forward to it.

I had all 4 of wisdom teeth (bottom 2 were badly impacted and the tops were about to bust into my sinus cavities) out at once... just ask for liquid valium and some vicodin for afterwards and you'll be fine. (That's for the ladies with wisdom teeth issues, root canals are another story all together and deserve extra )

I had my wisdom teeth pulled in February..It was a total biotch but totally worth it. You will feel like a new person in 48 hours!!
ETA: I had six shots of novacaine..took a xanax a prior and it was awesome. I hummed New York State of Mind with the Muzak and I was done. So quick...don't stress about the wisdom teeth. Root canal...my FH was so drugged and I felt awful.

Ugh, I had my wisdom teeth out last summer. The only fun part was FH brought me Fribbles and ice cream and teen movies he normally would never watch with me
ETA: I just had a shot of novocaine and took some Advil for a couple days. Had to go to work so couldn't take the vicodin.

i have to be honest i had several wisdom teeth pulled and each time they gave me the gas, an injection and novocaine and i have to tell you it was great...LoL... Just joking but i felt fine, the next few days are sore and a bit of pain but dont worry it will be worth it...

I had all four of my impacted (yes all of them were) Wisdom Teeth removed at once. Actually they tried, but one was too far stuck, they left a piece behind. No problem though.
I got an IV sedation. They talked to me a bit then said close your eyes and BAM I was out!!
I woke up once to scratch my nose and felt the big thingy they had keeping my jaw open, otherwise I didn't feel a THING!
They woke me up and sent me home. I was fine. I was tender the next day but i used those ice bags like pillows!! Took a half day on Friday and was back at work on Monday no problems.
My root canal I had done in NY. ARGH horrible! They gave me the shots but SOMEHOW my nerve never deadened. I could FEEL the whole thing!!!! I know exactly what they do to 'clean out' the nerve canal because the nerve that runs the length of my jaw as still very much awake. I HATED it.

This time is sooo much better than last time. Last time (February, I think) I had a tooth pulled that had 5 roots. I was in pain afterwards for days and went thru 5 scripts of Vicadin!
This time, I was prepped.. got my jello, ice cream for milkshakes, etc etc.. FH thought i was nuts because I was going for a pull AND the apico (apico was the main reason I was going).
But its feeling pretty good now.. well, not pretty good, but I'm not crying. My face is bruised and swollen, but that's okay.
I could have went back to work today with no issues.. but my coworkers were being so annoying yesterday, so screw it and I'm staying home.
