I got a call back for a 2nd interview...

I got a call back for a 2nd interview...

The only thing is...I got the message when I came home and it was too late...they wanted me to come in on Monday...which I couldn't do anyway due to the fact that I work in a 3rd Grade class and Monday is the NYS Math Exam!

What should I do??? I tried calling and leaving a message but the system does not except messages

I don't know if I can do that...I am going to bring my suit just in case Maybe I can go on Tuesday

Definitely call in the morning and then see what happens. they know you work so they would have ot understand why you didn't get back to them on time! Congrats on getting the 2nd interview!!! That's so exciting!

Something similar happened to me once too. It is very important to check your messages a couple oftimes a day because they give up your interview slot to someone else if you don't call that day. Good Luck.

I cannot check my messages on my machine if I am not home I guess they gave the interview to someone else then

They understand you are a teacher!
Call Monday morning and don't stress.

Which district? (FM if you want)

i would give them a call first thing on monday. they'll understand that it's the state test and you need to be there. btw - congrats on a 2nd interview!!!

Kathleen, that is so great you got a callback. I would do as the others said & call first thing Monday & explain the circumstances, they should be able to understand.
