I got engaged!

I wouldn't be half as excited about planning if it weren't for this board. You gals are such an inspiration for a beautiful wedding. Anyway, here's the ring (I posted it before in an older thread b/c I picked it out - so much for being totally shocked!) It's 'E' in the picture, from Clay Pot in Park Slope.
And my FH (wow!) was very romantic - on a snowy morning in the Adirondacks he got dowon on his knees and asked me to marry him. So now I'm officially a Bridezilla!

That's a gorgeous ring. Was he upset that you picked it out, or glad cuz he knew you would get something that you watned. I am engaged by word with my man, but not with a ring yet. He bought a car first instead:)~ but thast ok. but we booked our hall jsut yesterday, chateau briand, for friday, march 12, 2004, and then we went to look at rings, and he picked one out, showed it to me, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! but then he said he cant get that one cuz i saw it already:(~ what a dork!

No date yet, but we're thinking of May or June 2004. Have to decide church or no church yet.
