I got kicked!!! TWICE

yesterday!!! I was rolling over after hitting the snooze button (for the hundredth time) and all of a sudden I felt this 'push' like feeling and then I felt it again!!! Either little Bear Cub was telling me to get my a$$ out of bed, or was yelling at me for disturbing him/her!!!

And of course last night when I got home, Joe puts his face next to my belly and starts telling Bear Cub to 'kick Daddy'!!!! He is too much!

I was starting to get nervous because I haven't felt those darn flutters everyone talks about -- or if I did, I didn't notice. I kept feeling something, but I didn't know if it was a flutter or not. And with everyone constantly asking me, I was starting to panic inside. But now I've been kicked, so I'm ok now!

YAY, Debbie!!!!! It's an awesome feeling and it only gets better!!!

Peanut kicks all the time, has the hiccups occasionally and for the past week or so, it feels like he/she is *rolling* around in there taking full advantage of what room is left! Sometimes it feels like my baby is trying to bust out of my belly!!

I can't believe it's going so fast and I really better get my butt to Behr's this weekend to order the furniture because knowing my luck, it'll come AFTER the baby is born!!!

How many weeks do you have left now? When are you going to stop working??

Oh, I meant to ask you -- did you get this package from LIJ to fill out -- in particular the birth certificate form? Can you ask me why they need to know half the info they ask on that thing -- like how much you weigh??? *** do they care what I weigh (which is none of their darn beeswax anyway) for the BIRTH CERTIFICATE??? Oooo, that bugged the crap out of me!!!

7 more weeks from today, Debbie!! I'm working 4 more weeks (til June 12th), although, I'm sure I'll go in a day or two the following week!

Yes, I did get that package from LIJ. To be honest, I haven't filled it out yet, or even read it thoroughly!! EEK about the weight!! Steve doesn't even know what I weigh!!! I really should fill that out, eh? Isn't it for us to bring when we go in to deliver?? I hope so!

That's great news, even though you were trying to get back to sleep!!!! The movements will get even stronger soon, you'll love it.

I cannot wait to feel life inside me. And I have NO clue why someone needs to know your weight for a birth certificate I would put 100+

If I may: I am also delivering at LIJ and I did fill out the paper work for the birth certificate. I'm bringing that with me on Sunday for our refresher course....

But, my question is this: were there anymore papers in that package for admittance??? I didn't see any...

I guess I'll find out on Sunday. I was told by someone from this board to fill out as much as you can before you go, so that your DH isn't filling out the forms while you're in labor!!! He might panick a bit...I know mine might forget some things....

Anyway...happy feeling your baby...

My baby has been pushing and kicking and rolling....and oh boy......sometimes he/she hurts me with it....but that's okay...at least I know they are there....

Cindy, I don't remember if there were any admittance forms, I got it a couple of months ago and to be honest, I haven't looked at since it came!!! I have to read through it again!

As for the advice of filling it all out before, that's the best advice because when I was rushed to the ER in the summer w/a kidney stone, my husband didn't a blessed thing -- all he knew was my name, address and birth date!!! He was a big help to them!!! Can you imagine when I'm in labor and he's a nervous wreck, he probably won't even remember my name at that point!!!

I'm so glad to be sharing all this with my pals!!

Edited to say: YEAH Kathi!!! I can't believe it's 7 weeks away now!!! That will be here before you know it!!!

Congratulations on the first kicks. Just wait til you can sit and watch your stomach move around. The first time that happens is pretty interesting. You sometimes end up looking lopsided

Deb, isn't that the most wonderful feeling? My peanut has been kicking me non-stop since I was 18 weeks!

I also have 7 weeks to go, I was 30 weeks on Wednesday and the stitch is coming out at 37 weeks and I should have my little peant immediately after IF he or she decides to come out earlier!!

I am so happy for you. One of my closest friends is due in six weeks and her little one moves so much now! I love watching her belly move around.
