I knew I was going to need low-heeled wide bridal shoes due to my podiatric needs. I am also tall and have no need for heels as well. This week, I went shopping with one of my sisters and went everywhere - found NOTHING. So I continued my search online and found a pair of Shelley George shoes that were perfect. I didn't want to buy them online - I never buy shoes online. I called Shelley George shoes to find a local retailer and was able to find the shoes in Manhattan. The sample size fit and now the store (The Wedding Library in Manhattan) is ordering them for me. YAY!
They are incredibly comfy. I realize they are not so fancy looking but I am not willing to sacrifice my comfort for the sake of fashion. If my feet hurt, I will be one cranky bride.

Very cute. Smart woman. I'm the idiot that buys 2 pairs, one thinking I'm cute and all and the other that's comfortable. Yeah, cute usually lasts about an hour.

I normally wear high heels but hey, I'd rather be comfortable than have my feet look good. Besides, who is going to be looking at your feet??!!

They were too expensive but I have to figure there are things that we am not spending money on at all like...

The Wedding Library, as it seemed to me, was a very upscale Manhattan type of bridal place that has bridal consulting services from Soup to nuts. I happened to stumbled upon it by calling Shelley George just for the shoes but I don't know if I could ever really afford to use all of their services.
