I got my dress!!!! See pics!!!

Reem was there and it was nice to actually have her give suggestions, especially since I wasn't sure how changing the color from the creamy/beige to ivory would affect the beading and embroidery. The silk satin was amazing - the dress was so light too (it looked so heavy on the hanger!)

Her dog Lulu was there and he kept sniffing under the doors looking for her!

Which Reem dress did you get? Did you buy a veil and/or headpiece yet?

I had originally ordered Reem's Trinity, but I started to have my doubts. I was literally agonizing over whether or not I picked the right dress. It was unique and sophisticated but not very bridal or grand looking. It was more funky than 'Grace Kelly.' I ended up seeing another Reem (Perfection) on some random website and I fell in love with it. I called the corporate number for Reem Acra and located a store in New York that had the sample of it. I went to the store to try it on (not even Reem's boutique had the sample) and as soon as I put it on I knew! So I changed my order.
I have my tiara already, it is all swarovski crystals in a rhodium (silver type) setting. I chose something I thought had a vintage feel to it because that is the vibe my dress gives me. I will post a pic if I can find one. I am ordering silk tulle and having my veil custom made. Haven't even started that process yet though!This is the thread I started about my dress change, so you can see both dresses!

Oh yeah, and as far as the color goes, you made the right choice. The sample of my original dress (Trinity) was shown in Candlelight, that is the color that's a bit darker than Ivory. I thought it was really pretty, I even debated ordering it in that color. When I found Trinity at another store in Ivory I was amazed!! It was even more beautiful and the crystals on it just popped out at you so much more against the lighter color. I ordered my dress in Ivory!!
