I got my first gifts, but how do I thank them?

Hey there,

I received two gifts from people who aren't able to come to our wedding.

I was so excited.

One was a sterling silver picture frame with our names on it and the other was from my registry.

I got my towels baby!!! I can't wait to throw my old ones away.

My question though is do I wait for my wedding thank you's or do I send one now?

Send the thank yous now so that you don't have to worry about them later.

I sent those people a DIY thank you card...so they knew i received the gift...and then another 'offiical' one after the wedding when i got my TY's

Send a card thank you now and then a photo thank you after the wedding.

I sent an informal now and plan to send one later that has our pic from the wedding.

I agree- send em now so they know you got them and you could always send another one later with a pic just saying that I wanted to say thanks again and send a pic! This way in case you forget after the wedding at least you have sent a thank you!
