I GOT MY FIRST JOB INTERVIEW!!!!

I am sooo excited! As a lot of you know that both my parents have passed away, and I took care of them for many years. Well, after the terrible tragedy of Sept. 11th, the economy was so bad that I stayed at my job until a job became open in my field. Well, this past week I answered an ad and low and behold, I got called immediately for an interview! Keep your fingers crossed for me... finally something good for once!

Okay I went out today and got to the mall before they opened and I was up at 3:30 AM until 4:30 AM, Thank G-d for Nick @Nite , and that FH was at home in the city! I am so nervous, excited, happy, giddy , and sad (because my mom nad dad would have been so proud!

) But I managed to get a business suit in black and white (pinstripes) and got my nails done (OPI Beige). Now I just have to get good shoes becuase I am worried they are going to take me on a tour of the facility. Interview is Saturday at 1PM, they want to interview me before the others next week. I guess that is a good sign, and also all those times I sweated writing my Masters thesis might pay off, I have convinced myself that if it is not this job it will be another one. Thanks for everyone support and good wishes!

Well, I survived!!! There is no way I am taking this job! I wonder if Marcela1654 also has the interview on Monday is interviewing in the same place I did! ... I forgot her name.(Sorry!) Well, I got there super early and then went in 1/2 hour before my appointment. She sent down another person I think to feel me out . Then the executive director came and interviewed me for 45 monutes. After all was said and done, she wants me to do the job of 4 people on 1 salary!
Job#1-Actvity Coordinator
Job#2-Be on call 24/7
and have a beeper with me at all times
Job#3-Run the place for 1 straight week once a month.
Job#4-Drive a bus!!!! What did I go to school for, not that there is anything wrong with bus driving, but I struggled throught my masters degree! Me and FH have been singing the wheels on the bus go round and round all night!
The director even wants me back for interview#2! I am going to tell her not to waste my time. I know the job market is terrible but I am not that desperate! Thank you again for all of your support! It means a lot! Thanks again!!!
