Here is the example from Crane's. It will be on this paper. The missing line is the Guests Name, all the invites are going to be personalized.

#2

Re: I got my invite proofs!!! What do you think?
they are all so elegant.....I think #1 would be a good choice, as it's easier to read (that was a factor for me-for the older folks)

JMO, but I'm not crazy about any of those. Are they calligraphied or are those printing fonts? If I had to choose one, I think I'd go with #2. Maybe it's the way they scanned... sorry, JMHO.
Anyway, they forgot to capitalize the 'F' in follow on the 1st one. And, is Oheka supposed to be in all caps like that? They don't capitalize it on their website.... just something to watch out for.

I really like them. Michele31 had the same invites and they were beautiful.
I think they are a lot more impressive in person too b/c they are such nice thick paper and look hand calligraphed.

I like them, but you might want to consider getting them without the yellow on them (bad joke, sorry!) No, but I like #2

I think they are beautiful. Elegant, very formal, and unusual. What color is the paper and ink? I have to agree the yellow paper does take something away from it though....

Is there a line missing (honor of your presence)?
I like #2

I think I'm leaning towards #3 but a lot of people seem to like 2...

Re: I got my invite proofs!!! What do you think?
So it will say something like
Mr. and Mrs. ___ request the honor of Jane Doe's presence...
???
Wow. Now I know what they mean when they say a personal invitation

Re: I got my invite proofs!!! What do you think?
xjulietx- Yes exactly! One of my BMs told me about it when she was searching for her own invites at Kate's Paperie and I fell in love!
After researching Turns out it's actually really common in the UK, but never reached popularity here...
I love it, what do you think?

Beth, I think they're beautiful! I love Debi's work - we're using her as well, although not for invites. She's great. I do agree about Oheka in all caps, though - even if that is the way it's sometimes referred to (since it's supposed to be a combination of Kahn's name, right?), it's a little blaring.

Re: I got my invite proofs!!! What do you think?
I love the idea that it is a personal invitation. It looks so official. There is no way a person could misinterpret who is invited by saying they lost the envelope. Your name is on the invite.
