You go to social security and the DMV first. There's a name change list I found that gives you all the forms, you just fill them out and bring them in.
i changed mine with DMV first...didn't do SS yet. but honestly, once you change it with DMV and get your license, you can change it with most everything pretty quick. for my credit cards, some i could do online and some i had to call, but out of like 9 CC's, only ONE asked for proof of my marriage!
