My girlfriend (BM) surprised me with my unity candles last nite! The Swarovski ones I LOVE with the stand too!!
And she just came back from Disney and brought me back as a souvenir a mickey and minnie bride groom figurine! lol soo cute!
I had to share how sweet she is.

MY FMIL sent me unity candles... Nice thought... But they are SOOOOO UGLY. MY FH is like oh well put them away somewhere we won't ever look at them again.... I told him sorry darling WE HAVE TO USE THEM. I am going to get a different pillar and tapers to try and dress it up.... Any Suggestions???????

No I will try to take one though. The holder is porcilin (sp?) with clovers and stuff on it. Normally I love the whole Irish thing....... Not so much here!!!!

What about getting something like to cover it with?
Here is the set she sent me........ I hate it! I guess I could cover it with flowers at the base
those arent ugly......but if u got the flowers it would dress them up really well!~

I love the waterford ones James! but she got me the basic silver one, so thats why I think i'm gonna get the flowers for it to give it the oomph it needs...but the candles itself BEAUTIFUL! she really surprised me!

yup....i liked the frosted holders that exclusively weddings offered, but I wanted it all to be connected and I couldnt find diddly....so thats what i'll end up doing...but the waterford ones u have are GORGEOUS!! LUCKY!

Even better, I got the candles when my mom and I went shopping for my SIL's shower. If you spent a certain amount you received gift certificates so I used them to get the candles.
