I got the job!! ETA: I need moral support pleasssse!!

You guys might remember me posting last week that I was supposed to hear about a job offer. I met with the Executive Director and President of the Board yesterday and they made me an offer, which I have accepted.

Now I have to go into my current boss and tell him that I'm leaving I hate doing this, I always feel bad. Any advice??

Thanks for the good wishes everyone! You're all very sweet. Turns out my boss is out today so my anxiety is prolonged until tomorrow.

Scott, I will write a resignation letter if they ask me to. They may as protocol.

OMG....I would be freaking out if I was you....Call him at home....LOL...Im joking...

NO JOKE! My boss just called in and said that he doesn't know if he'll be in tomorrow either!! OMG, this man is killing me....

My boss just came in....OMG I have major butterflies! What is my deal?....just be a woman and walk in there and say 'Can I have a few minutes?' I've been rehearsing this is my head all day, but I know this is going to be a surprise to him so I feel badly.

First of all, congratulations!!!

I would just do that, say can I have a minute & tell him that you've accepted an offer, but thank him for the opportunity for the job that you've had.
