I thought it was just a routine weigh in appointment so that was a nice surprise it was pretty cool to hear

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat about two weeks ago and I couldn't believe how fast it was! They said it was 160 beats per minute - I was like 'Wow .... is that normal!?!'

they should let you hear the heartbeat every appt. from here on. you can always ask - they just need to put that little wand on you! mine listened at every appt. it was great.

I just about to say the same thing as Jenny. Every appointment I go to I hear the heart beat (since my first visit at 4 weeks). Tammy congrats on hearing it, isn't it wonderful... yes, what was the rate???

13 wk this is the first time I heard it and she didnt tell me the rate! I was just happy to listen though

it sounded loud and fast maybe they make that radio thingee loud lol I still 'FEEL' its a girl so we will see at my 9wk sono I 'SAW' the heartbeat but didnt hear it and it was moving in and out really fast

That must be awesome to hear, what did Craig say when he heard?? These are the times I live for, I wonder how Roger will react when he see the sonogram and hear the heartbeat. He never got to do all that with his first child, so this child when it does happen will be a lot of first for him and I

I just always wanted to know how the men react. I can see Roger now just staring in awe. He is so excited at the prospect. I share some of the pix on here with him.
