Isn't it the best sound? I am so happy for you. My doctor didn't tell me the heartrate either. I have to remember to ask next time. I know there is some myth about the heartrate and the sex of the baby.

What a great sound! As someone else said, you should be able to have your doctor listen for the heartbeat at every appointment!

Now you have me excited for my appt. next wk. I will be 15 weeks then and have yet to hear the hb since I only go to the midwife every 6 weeks.
