I took an EPT test this morning and it was POSITIVE!!!! My DH works nights so he wasnt home to tell him. He's working 2 jobs right now so I wont see him till 7pm tonight.
I'm going to buy a baby bib that says 'I love my Daddy' and wrap it w/ the EPT test in it and give it to him.
Also, his birthday is Aug 31st.. I'll just tell him it's an early birthday gift.. LOL
He's going to be so excited.. all this anticipation is killing me. So far my SIL (who just found out she's pregnant as well) knows cause I called her at 6am after I found out...
My mom & dad are going to go nuts.. both of their children are having babies AND the same month!! - Right now were about 1 week apart.. This is CRAZYYYYYYYYYY!!!
I'm so EXCITED!!! YAYYYYY

Ok, so this is how I told my DH...
On my way home got 2 baby bibs .. one pink and one blue - they said 'I love my Daddy' on them... I wrapped the EPT test in it and bought him a card.
When I got home I cooked his favorite dinner so when he walked in he smelled it cooking and got excited.. I told him to sit down and I told him I have a little gift for him for his birthday.. He said OK, but didn't understand why I was giving it to him so early..I said it's just a small gift to go with the bigger gift you'll be getting later.. .. so he said OK..... LOL He opened up the present and just looked at me and said.. Stop messing with me.. I said .. Keep looking.. so he found the EPT test and he went NUTS!!! He got so excited... he hugged me to death and started screaming YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! He's too cute..
He then said.. OMG we have to call my parents, etc.. I want to call everyone.. I said.. No, not yet.. and then I went over to my closet and I showed him that I bought his mom & dad a 'I love my grandma & grandpa' bib to give them too w/ a card...
He's so excited.. he cant wait to tell them... he wants to tell everyone!! hahahhaa
He called me this morning on my cell phone and wanted to see how 'we' were doing.. LOL & last night he wouldn't let me lift a finger to clean... he said i'm not allowed to anymore.
I think i'm going to enjoy this!!

I just cried my eyes out. Literally. I'm so happy for you. Your DH sounds amazing! Congrats again! I couldn't wait to hear the story.

Happy and healthy 9 months!
My DH reacted the same way too....he was sooooo excited to tell everyone...he kept saying WHEN CAN WE TELL PEOPLE? WHEN CAN WE TELL? We told our mothers a few days later but not rest of family for a few weeks. Then everyone else at 12 weeks. IT was so HARD to hold it in, especially at WORK.
