I have about 15 responses still outstanding and I am actually hoping that some of them are nos because we really want to stay under 150...

Otherwise I am going to have to scrounge around for some more centerpieces

It's true, you'll get more yes's

I felt Iike I was only getting no's but on the last day I got 5 yes's (and there are still 10 outstanding, but that's a whole other issue )

we have 107 outstanding....30 of them people we know are coming...the other day was a bunch of NOs...but yesterday 3 YES cards (for a total of 5 people)!!!!

our deadline is saturday! i told FMIL that saturday afternoon, we start calling! she agreed.

RSVP was Sunday.....I need to order favors...do placecards and seating!

Most of our B list has declined....One person even wrote my mother a nice note but at the end....kicked in 'maybe if I had known sooner'....well sorry you were a B lister

I just didn't think we would get so many nos

My RSVP was last Thursday and I just got 7 Yeses on Saturday, and 3 Yeses yesterday! And I am still waiting on 8 sure thing Yeses (if they don't come today, they are getting the call!) Yeses come at the end too - usually from the less organized, messy people or super busy people who lost the RSVP card or forgot about it

how far are you from your minimum right now? i know that if you're only under by a few people the hall probably wont do anything for you. but if it's a considerable amount (like more than 10) then they will work with you.

dont worry kathleen. your avatar says you have 140 yes's and that's still alot of people! a perfect sized wedding if you ask me (that's how many i'm having! ). think of it this way, now you can add stuff to your wedding for those 140 people that are going to be there to celebrate your big day with you and your FH!
