I guess with all this rain we’ve been having…
I didn’t get a chance to talk about the downpour I had on July 16th!
(In reality I just got my hands on some photos from it the other day and I know better than to talk about my shower on here without bringing pics!)
I was very surprised. I had my suspicions but the ruse was that it was a surprise b-day party for one of my BMs. The elaborate conspiracy involved in this was ridiculous lol There were so many people involved just to fool me!
I had a great time. Truth be told, the experience was overwhelming. It was weird being the center of attention like that (good practice for the wedding I guess, right?) It was also strange to see, for example, a girl I work with sitting next to a girl I grew up with and the only thing these people have in common is ME! So weird!
Everything was great. Gargiulo’s was fantastic! I finished all my ty notes 3 weeks after (an experience that made me say to FH “I hope you know that for the wedding we’re BOTH writing the ty notes!”) And FYI – I got the ty notes from Target. They were only $10 or $12 for box of 50! Now I can’t wait to find an apartment so I can start using all our presents!
