Okay so the idea of having a guest book I like BUT a guest book reminds me of a funeral (I have issues, I know) SO i was watching either Bridezilla or Platinum weddings and they had Pictures with like a frame BUt it was like a poster board type thing...the guests signed the frame.....
Do we like this idea?

ive seen it in magazines and i like it better than the book too.......what do you really do with the book after the wedding anyways?

Regardless of whose idea it was first , I think its a good idea...one of my BMs did this at her wedding and it was a big success...then you can swap out the pic w/ one from your wedding and its one less frame you have to buy

I'm totally doing that. FH is making a picture mosaic of pictures of us to put in the frame. It's gonna look so cool!

my photographer is enlarging and framing one of our e-pics... we were going to have the guests sign all over the photo and hang it in our home(whenever we get one...lol) as a keepsake... Do you think there is enough room to write on the frame???

Ok, my friend had the most original thing at her wedding...way out of my price range but everyone LOVED it! She actually had a photobooth set up...yes, like the kind you find at the arcades! You went in and chose b/w or color, posed for 10 shots. Then when they printed out, you picked the side you wanted to keep (vertically 5 pics with their names and dates next to them) and the other four went into a little book and you signed near your pics. I thought it was a little 'bar-mitvah-ish' at first, but it really was the hit of the party! It doubled as favors and a guest book. The pics form the end of the night are hilarious! You can find vendors if you search!

My MOH had the pic you can sing. I don't know what she did with it though. I'm not having a guest book or a pic you can sign, Im' just having the big pic. What would I do with any of it after? I feel like my whole house would be a wedding museum afterwards!

I think I am doing a polaroid sign book. It will have a spot on each page for a polaroid and a note. I will leave a polaroid camera next to it so ppl can take a pic of themselves and write a note.
I agree with the funeral log, I have issues as well.

I love polaroid guest books- you put out a polaroid camera or two, guests take picture of themselves. The pics slip into slots on the pages and they write a message! I think its a great way to remember everyone who shared your day!
