So I met with the recruiter, that went great, she asked me to take a test, ok took the test got a great score. She asked me to take another test, took that, good score. She asked me to write a business letter basically selling myself to this company. Did great on that. She asked me to meet with her supervisor. That went really well, the woman was pleasant, joking I felt very comfortable with her. She asks do you have a few more minutes I want you to meet with my supervisor. Ok sure. As soon as this woman come out she has this sour look on her face and was not personable at all. She killed my whole vibe! I must have sounded like a babbling idiot to her. I hate when they ask you were do you see yourself in 5 years ( I wanted to say re-entering the work force now that my child is in school). I had that job nailed.....until her

You may have done better than you thought.... Was this just the interview with your recruiter and her co., or was it a job interview that the recruiter sent you on? (or a job AS a recruiter?)
Anyway - if everyone else really liked you and you felt confident going in....your confidence may have come through.... Don't get down on yourself until you hear something!

Whenever I've had that feeling after a job interview, my dad always tells me the same thing, and its so right (probably because he's the smartest man alive, but I digress )
1. If you don't get the job because of this woman, maybe you wouldn't be happy working with her anyway - the job just might not be for you.
2. Sometimes, just because they have a miserable attitude, it really does not reflect how they view you, or, they want to see how you respond to pressure/tension, etc.
3. If they don't see how fabulous you are, do you really want to work there anyway??
and BTW, I thought I totally bombed the last interview I went on - didn't know the answer to questions (that I DO know the answer to!) etc. I thought the boss hated me. Guess what? I got the job and the same guy LOVES me. Good luck!

i hate when that happens, don't take it personally...
at one company, i went through 3 separate rounds of interviews. on the last one i met everyone and their co-worker, the recruiter told me that i had it in the bag (99.9% sure they were going to make me an offer), i really got along with everyone and was excited about the position. as i was saying 'good-bye', my would-be supervisor saw that the CEO of the company just came back from lunch and he wanted to introduce me.
i went into his office and he ripped me to shreds! i felt like i was on a different planet. turns out the company just had massive layoffs and the guy i was speaking to was ordered to come in and 'clean house'.
i wanted the job so much!
life goes on...

Stacey, dont let it bother you. Im sure the recruiter isnt going to judge you on the miserable womans thoughts of you. The recruiter saw you and one other manager saw you and they both liked you...If they didnt like you, they wouldnt of wanted you to meet with all the supervisors like that Good Luck, Scott

aww, i'm sorry. but maybe it's not as bad as you think. i always think i did awful at interviews and then they call and offer the job and i'm like 'what?!' so don't get too down until you're sure you didn't get it. and if you didn't, then it just wasn't meant to be and something better will come along!

They called me back last Thursday to see if I wanted to interview for another position as this one was filled. I went in on Monday and interviewed, I got a call this morning and they offered me a job....the original job that was supposedly filled. I accepted it though. Dont plan on staying long as soon as I have a baby I'm staying home
