I had a productive weekend!

On Saturday Joey and I went to the bank and I put his names on all the savings accounts I have open for the wedding, we picked out his tux and the tuxes for the guys, I got a snowboard, boots and bindings at a ridiculously low price, my mom put her dress on hold and my Godmother picked out hers, AND i picked the flowergirl/Jr. Bridesmaid dress.

Few raves:

Bob at Tuxedo park was AMAZING. The place is gorgeous, the salespeople are knowledgable and helpful and you feel like royalty when you are in there. FH picked a Ralph Lauren Suit with a Kenneth Cole vest and tie and it was $200... I didn't think that was bad and he looked SOOOO handsome!

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place:
Mandy was a doll and so helpful!!!

Paradise Bridal in Patchogue:
my mom put her dress on hold. The manager, maryann was soo sweet. they kept the store open for us b/c we were on our way there and they were closing in 10 minutes.

we've been postponing doing anything since like November and come April we are both working 7 days, so we had to start getting stuff done!

hey are the suits nicer looking then the tuxes? because chris wants to wear a suit he hates tuxes haha but i didn't know what the norm was you know!?

I did the same thing. I took Nov and Dec off, really, because of Christmas shopping / decorating / parties, etc - and because work was busy for me then - and in January I came back full force. I booked the HM last month (and it took all month!) and then last week I booked flowers and limo and got my shoes. I got my jewelry last month too, and had a m/u trial this month ... on to officiant and invites soon!

Thanks! I love the color combo and the dress is similar to the BM dresses, so I'm happy.

And yes, I would recommend Tuxedo Park to everyone. When we got there we were the only ones there and then it got really busy and the guy we were working with NEVER rushed us, or left us. Even after Joey got changed, he kept bringing out other vest options for the GM's. I was so impressed
