And here it is a month before i get married, and my under eyes are swelled up with little red bumps that are super itchy, and all the doc said i can do is wait and use cortisone creme...
and i am not allowed to use moisturizer for 3 months!
it was a new moisturizer i tried... lierac Paris... it was supposed to be really good for wrinkles... well.....
Not to mention the stupid cold i have, makes it really really hard to watch my 10 month old with...i am sooo down right now....

oh no!!! that happened to me too....i had a very similar reaction to eyeshadow that I was using (it was old...oops). the cortisone helps and the inflammation should go down quickly.

This may sound crazy to you, but I had an infection like that once and my mother told me to boil water and make a cup of tea. Keep the tea bag in the water and of course let it cool, but put that tea bag on your eyes don't squeeze out all the water, leave a little in it. It was amazing how it worked. Try it.

oh no - funny, the same thing just happened to me with eyeshadow! I bought Studio Gear for the first time, and my eyelids are so painful right now.
Keep up with the cortisone - it works!

what kind of tea? does it matter? i think all i have is green tea.

I had a similar reaction when i was 20, and it left a wrinkle.... and now that i am 30.. i definetly dont want anything to happen... yikes!!!!

Ugh I'm so sorry! It's a good thing you figured this out with time to spare! I found out I had an allergy to purple/red pigments in eyeshadow a couple of months ago- mine got all puffy and red and dry! Luckily MAC allowed me to exchange them for other colors (even though I had these colors for months - I was fine and then 2 months later the allergy started).
