I had my bridal shower yesterday! (Pictures added!)
It was SO MUCH FUN!!
I had no clue about it until yesterday morning when a few things made me suspicious. (Like FH encouraging me to wear a dress!![]()
)
My incredibly wonderful FILs hosted it at their home. It was so amazing so see all my friends and family gathered there for me, including my Aunt and cousin from California!!!![]()
My wonderful FH stayed there the whole time, sitting with me, and I was so glad he did!
The Theme:
The party was put together by my Mom, FMIL, bridesmaids, and my wonderful Man of Honor, my brother! They gave me a 'Pamper the Bride' relaxing spa theme, which was the absolute Perfect theme for me, since I'm such a high stress person!![]()
Little white Chistmas lights (my favorite) decorated the back yard, with candles, relaxing music, and spa sponges hanging from the deck! The favors (thought of by my brother!) were little white 'wedding day' votive candles and Amazing smelling torquoise bath salt in a little tulle bag with a ribbon. They were a Huge hit with people wanting more than one! I loved everything!!
The Games:
They even arranged games: 1) in one game, everyone got into teams of 5 and dressed up one person as the 'bride' with toilet paper!! It was Hysterical! Two of the 'brides' were my brother and FH!!!![]()

I was the judge and the winning team got prizes (like little hand held rolly massager thingys). 2) The other game was Bridal Bingo. Everyone got a bingo sheet and had to fill in each box with a gift that they thought I would get. When you got a row across or diagonally, you yelled Bingo and won a prize! It was great b/c it kept everyone involved and having fun as I opened the gifts.
I couldn't believe all the presents!![]()
They're all piled up in our garage right now and we need to find homes for them all!
It was such a wonderful day. I'm still soaking it all in and am so touched by all that my family did for me. (As I sit here tearing up.) I will post some pictures as soon as I get my hands on some!
