I had my first Bridezilla Fit, oh noo

so being that i feel everything needs to be done early, my BM found a dress they loved, so we ordered it a few weeks ago, two dates later, i got a call that my color was discontinued a week before, no special order could be done. i agreed and said i would wait until the new 2010 colors came out and pick a new color since i knew the girls loved the dress. so i did, and actually ended up going from a teal to a pink, i know i know, night and day, but i loved the color and figured maybe it being discontinued was a sign.

Saturday i called and told them to put through the order with pink dresses, yesterday i get a call, that oops they made a mistake and put my dresses through in teal, the mysterious discontinued color, reappeared with just enough fabric for them to make my dresseS?

naturally, i flipped, i dont feel comfortable with the teal dresses, where was the fabric two weeks ago when you told me it was discontinued and i could not even get a swatch did you bring the fabric out of the back of a closet? maybe im being unreasonable, but its my wedding, and i dont like the idea....so i flipped and became bridezillaish, after i promised myself i wouldnt let any of this get to me.

at the end of the day, i got the pink dresses ordered, im just so frustrated, i dont want the whole process to be this stressful...

okay, i just needed to vent!

its just, i have this manager on the phone all like, well you went from teal to pink?
like yea lady and what is your point and why is my wedding color your business???

ive been very calm this whole process, and when she called me yesterday like take the teal dresses we ordered them, i started yelling and screaming about it...

not as bad as the bridezillas on the TV, i know, i just, this wedding is making me crazy!

They can't go playing with your emotions like that! This is a delicate time and these are major decisions. They should've been more sensitive to you and checked their facts before they decided they weren't going to have your color. That bugs me they bothered you like that.

I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope it all works out for you and you get what you love with NO MORE STRESS!!!!!!!!!!!

That is not bridezilla at all... thats just bad business... what if you did 10 other things revolving around the new pink color and now everything is thrown off...

thats not ok imo.... i would make a real complaint with the manager or something

just a terrible experience, as if it wasnt bad enough that i was told the color was discontinued, a woman isgoing to call me and say well, ma'm our contract says teal, how do you go from teal to pink?
so i yelled, and told the woman that she could wear the teal dresses to work everyday for all i care, but i wanst taking them, and eventually just hung up soo frustrated...

like excuse me lady, but are you my f wedding cordinator? i dont think i asked for an opinion, just for you to get my BM dresses made.

i ended up calling the managers manager, and explaining that i didnt feel comfortable with material that was 'discontinued enough that i couldnt order a swatch, but suddenly not discontinued so that 6 BM dresses could be made' she understood and told me my order would be placed in pink yesterday, finally a sane woman on the phone! and it was.

in the end it worked i hope, but the nerve of ppl...im still so frustrated about it!

Wow, I cant believe she said that to you. Thats really frustrating because the BM's colors affect your decor for the wedding. I think your reaction was perfectly normal and not brideszillaish at all.

When I read your post I kept thinking of that crazy girl Karen when she tried to attack her seamstress (from Brideszilla's). She was ridiculous!
