So we all fear the 'what will go wrong' at our wedding and i had one of those moments. RK Bridal called to say my girls dresses were in so I went to look at them and I absolutely HATED the color! It is A LOT lighter than I was expecting and didn't like it at all. I cried and was so upset but i'm trying to get over it. There really isn't anything I can do about it now since the dresses are in, you can't make any changes or return them. When I looked at the swatch (because they didnt have any dresses at their store in that color), the swatch seemed a little darker. but looking at the ENTIRE dress in that color it just didnt look like what I imagined. I'm trying to concentrate on the fact that this is a minimal problem and its not the end of the world yet in the back of my mind I am still a little upset about it

I am sorry. Hopefully once the girls are in the dresses and holding their flowers, the color won't matter as much!

I'm sure when they're all done up in their dresses and you see it with their flowers and all that, it will look spectacular! I know it's frustrating though when you have something in your mind and it's just not right.
I had a meltdown with my sample centerpiece! My poor dad was like 'They're just flowers!' and that didn't go so well for him so he was a little afriad of me for the rest of the day. I love my dad.

No we didnt do the no frills program but on the receipt it tells you that once the order is placed you can not make any changes. They don't do exchanges or refunds.

Re: I had my first wedding meltdown!
what color are they? maybe you can find someone on here that had the same color dresses? that might put your mind at ease - seeing how the color photographs.....it will look better on your girls, when they have hair and make up done, with the jewelry and flowers

thanks for the suggestion. I think that may be a little bit of a hassle bcuz what if all the dresses dont sell, etc. I dont want any of the girls to lose out on their money just becuz i didnt like the color. I'm sure once the day comes I wont be as upset about it anymore

Yes i called and asked and even spoke to a manager. they make it pretty clear on the receipt each girl signs when she orders a dress. also, its on their website:

In addition, our vendors are unable to cancel or make any changes or modifications to any order once it has been placed.
