I had my first wedding meltdown!

So we all fear the 'what will go wrong' at our wedding and i had one of those moments.
RK Bridal called to say my girls dresses were in so I went to look at them and I absolutely HATED the color! It is A LOT lighter than I was expecting and didn't like it at all. I cried and was so upset but i'm trying to get over it. There really isn't anything I can do about it now since the dresses are in, you can't make any changes or return them.
When I looked at the swatch (because they didnt have any dresses at their store in that color), the swatch seemed a little darker. but looking at the ENTIRE dress in that color it just didnt look like what I imagined.
I'm trying to concentrate on the fact that this is a minimal problem and its not the end of the world yet in the back of my mind I am still a little upset about it

Don't worry. Everything happens for a reason. I'm sure the dresses will look beautiful in your pictures anyway. What color are the dresses? Maybe you can change the color of your BM's flowers.

I am sorry to hear that! I am sure the dresses look beautiful anyway! What do your BMs think of the color of the dress?

really? they told me that we couldnt exchange or refund only on no frills .. why dont you ask them becuase thats not what they told me ... they told me BMs could exchange it if they ordered it regular from them

Yes i called and asked and even spoke to a manager. they make it pretty clear on the receipt each girl signs when she orders a dress. also, its on their website:

Oh that s ucks! Um so sorry ... I havent ordered there yet, but most of my BMs tried it on there and the saleslady said that they can exchange them as long as they dont use the no frills program I feel like we were lied too!

So i spoke to my BM's and they all agree that everything will be fine. I found a pic of an LIW bride who used the same French Blue Color and showed it to the girls and they all agree that the color looks nice and classy:

awww.. It's always hard to change what you originally envisioned but I think the color looks really nice in the pic you posted!

made the color looks good. definitely looks like it photographs well which is also a good thing. no worries hun, I do not doubt with alterations, accessories and the works everyone will look awesome

awww...so sorry you're upset, it's hard to pick a color just from a swatch, I did that and I'm a little nervous about seeing it when they come in, I'm hoping they look okay, but don't worry, I'm sure they're going to look great once accessorized, just take a deep breath and try to relax!
