I had my Shower w/Pics

I had my shower yesterday. It was at the Villa Marcello in Ozone Park. My Mom did a great job planning everything. I thought I was going there for a fund raiser type luncheon with a friend of mine (one of my BM’s). There were about 50 people there, we had a great time

Here is the invitation my Mom made. She said she got the idea from a 2005 bride’s Mom (Randella I think). The pic is me as a flower girl in someone’s wedding.


Here are the menus she made:


Each place setting had one of these bags with toiletries that said “From Amy’s Shower to your Shower” It had everything from a loofah to bath beads, shower cap, gel, soap, and lotion in there. She got this idea from Bethsiar’s shower (a 2004 bride).

Here are the favors that were given “Love Beyond Measure” measuring spoons.

My Mom got me the soon to be hoodie (minus the hood) with matching shorts and a Just Married sweat suit.



My MOH went above and beyond in the gift giving department since she said My Mom insisted on paying for the shower herself. She bought me my entire china set, all the bake ware, silverware, knives, toaster and all my pots and pans. She also made the p e n i s chocolate lollipops. She did the basket of candles poem for me.

They also did the shower poem with the cleaning items which they placed in a laundry basket. From the shower I can tell that my Mom did her LIW homework well. LOL

Everything looks so pretty. I love the 'shower to shower' ideas. That was a really cute gift basket and such practical things. What a beautiful day you had! Congratulations!!!
