I had such a productive weekend!!!

So I was MIA from LIW for most of the weekend b/c I was busy getting a bunch of stuff done.

Yesterday- Me & MimiMcG went to Tri-County- I ordered my veil from Barron's (and bumped into fellow 07er Tuosto- who is the sweetest girl EVER!), got my DOJ (yes this is the 3rd set I've bought, hopefully this one goes with my dress!! , and I bought our new stainless steel stove, microwave oven & dishwasher from PC Richards since they were having a massive sale!!

Then today me & FH went and ordered our Dining room set!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a country kind of set, but we love it!!!!! Here's a pic....we're also getting a corner curio that's not in the picture:

And then when I got home I was finishing up painting our dining room......I think I should take a day off tomorrow!! lol Just had to share my excitement of everything I got done!!!

thanks Gabi!!!! actually we're members of Direct Buy (which I can't whole heartedly recommend joining) and we ordered through them (it's kind of the Costco of furnishings and house renovation type things, but in hindsight the membership is totally not worth it!! at least not for us). So we get a discount on the set, but it won't be in for TWO months!! If it's late heads will roll b/c I asked them to rush it so we at least have it in time for the wedding. It's made by Liberty Furniture, which from researching, I know is also sold at Jessica's furniture (right in the same parking lot as Tri-County).

As for the jewelry.....it's a little more antique-y looking and definitely more what I had in mind....the first 2 sets I bought I shopped by myself and let the salespeople talk me into it (although I do like them, just not really w/ my dress). So....the necklace I won't have back for a week or so, I dropped it off at Sam/Diamond Roof, b/c the 'slide' on the pendant is too large (it's meant for a pearl necklace) and it won't lay flat w/ a regular chain.....I'll definitely post pics when I get it back though!!! Thanks!!

sorry I don't have any pics, I won't be able to pick it up until July, right before my 1st fitting!

It's going to be a 3 tier- w/ a detachable cathedral layer, a finger tip length & elbow length blusher, w/ rhinestones scattered on the top 2 layers. It'll be light ivory w/ pencil eding in champagne (I hope it goes with my dress!!)

so nice to get so much done!

I totally feel you on the whole 'multiple sets of day of jewelry!'

I bought like 4 or 5 sets before I realized that the perfect jewelry for my dress was SITTING IN MY JEWELRY CABINET! LOL I had a few pieces that worked perfectly with my dress so I bought all those things for nothing (thankfully I was able to return most everything, except two sets of earrings).
