I hate asking this, but......

I know Sandals Antiqua is more than the others. You are also around July 4th week so they may be bumping up the airfare and all.

Also consider if you go on a lot of vacas or not. If not, then this is a rare vaca. AND your HM, then you can justify spending more. When is the next time you will be able to go on an ALL OUT vaca. like this.

We spent more than we would have on a regular vava, but we havent been on one in 3 years. BUT , we still kept it on the lower end b/c we want to be able to buy a house in 09 and will do a cruise just before that. (the last ho- rah before the kiddies take all our $)

ETA- maybe you can book a lower room and ask for an upgrade? Although- an upgrade is not guaranteed.

I am doing Sandals St Lucia for 7 nights and including airfare it is less than $6000

When we first booked it was closer to $8000 but we keep getting great deals and the price keeps going down.

We got the first suite that has room service! Room service is a MUST! lol
