it told me the wrong time just now (6:30) in the morning...
All the cablevision clocks are (were, they just updated now in front of my very eyes) 4 hours ahead..
we (we work for same job) thought we were late for work, already left messages with our bosses. Boy, they gonna have a feild day with this one.
huh!!!!!!!!!!

I made the mistake of trying to call them!!!! Of course I was on hold for 20 minutes and just gave up! I was also shocked the clock was off, glad I am not alone! Glad I did not have to tape anyhting. I am hoping it just catches up, the time on the IO box.

it arleady did go back to real time for me...i thought i was tired and seeing different times... what makes this better is that me and FW have splet a couple of hours before because i thought it was saturday...ppl at work had fun with that

My girl works in the call center at Cablevision. She said this happens when they do a 'code download' to the cable boxes. I guess kinda like an update. She says you can fix this by just unplugging the power from the cable box and plugging it back in. Doing this fixes a lot of other issues as well.

i call it silly....
why does it need to change the time...made me think i was 4 hrs late for work...grrr that was the start of my downhill day at work..
then since i thought it was 11, i figured, hey half day off work..i'll be home before you know it.

My best bet... would be the software they download to the box might be associated with a different timezone. Meaning they probably use the same version of the software on every box throughout the country.
It updated on its own when it gets its first 'local' hearbeat from the cable hub. I dunno man.
Give them a call if you aren't happy. Maybe you will get my girl on the phone. She will tell you how it is.
