Why do they all have to say TO and FROM. Why can't they make any that say TO and LOVE. I always cross out the From and write LOVE. Sorry, just had to complain. I feel better now.

I got into the habit a long, long time ago of not putting tags on the presents I give .. helps cut down on the snooping while others are opening their gifts. In our house, we grew up with everyone getting their individual turn at opening.
Okay, so how do I remember who gets what .. I can generally remember by the shape of the package .. otherwise by the paper .. otherwise, I write discreetly somewhere on the package.
Kel I do that too...I write the name on the inside fold... mainly because I am lazy and cheep....
next year Boop...print out your own tags on mailing labels!!!

I have been known to write who the gift is for right across the wrapping paper with a black marker.

I just put the tag on there, write who its for and write that its from me. Most of the time the people look at the tag for seconds anyway, they dont notice it doesnt say love. I only crossed them out and wrote love for Danielle.

I learned from my mom that you always cross out From, and make it Love!!! I thought we were the only ones!!!

For my family I just write on the paper( the name). For others, I get the ones that are more like mini gift cards that are blank inside. Then I write my own message.

I always make my own tags with the paper that I am using and attach it that way. This way it always matches the present and I can write my own message on it

I make a tag from the wrapping paper. I make little Christmas Trees and stuff like that I'm handy with a scissor

This year I made my own tags in Word 2003 using Avery labels. I love that I got to pick the designs on them (from all the clip art in the new version of Word) and they self-stick! I'm going to do this for birthday tags too!
