I hate Donuts at the office

i try to eat healthy so i can fit into my dress- but it is so hard to avoid free food in the office especially when there are boxs of donuts

I'm such a fat pig, I just went to city bakery, for those of you that don't know city bakery, they have hot chocolate their that is basically a melted chocolate bar in a cup....I got myself what they call a pretzle croissant, and a half of a chocolate chip cookie that probably has one stick of butter in it....Yes, this is what I just had for my lunch/brunch....Yes I am majorly PMSing..but I keep forgetting that I have to be in a WHITE DRESS in a few months..someone shoot me now!!

My boss, who I HATE, brought in crispy cremes to a meeting this morning. I wanted one but luckily I have a rule of not accepting anything from an enemy!

Ummm...I work for one of the most amazing group of restaurants - the food is unreal - I have been here 10 months and have gained 15 pounds!

For me, it's easy to avoid real junk food - like Dunkin Donuts, because it's mass produced crap. But when someone from this company puts a lovingly made french/italian/indian dish in front of me, I can't resist - it's too gourmet to be turned down!!

Came into a birthday party at work yesterday to a chocolate Tart from our new restaurant in the MoMA made by a world renown french pastry chef.

I mean....come on!

Ummm...I work for one of the most amazing group of restaurants - the food is unreal - I have been here 10 months and have gained 15 pounds!

For me, it's easy to avoid real junk food - like Dunkin Donuts, because it's mass produced crap. But when someone from this company puts a lovingly made french/italian/indian dish in front of me, I can't resist - it's too gourmet to be turned down!!

Came into a birthday party at work yesterday to a chocolate Tart from our new restaurant in the MoMA made by a world renown french pastry chef.

Oh my g-d, I heard that the new MOMA has two new restaurants, and one of them is from a chef that used to work at bouely bakery!!!! I have an award dinner there on Dec 13th, I'll prob be stuffing my face iwth tarts now..thanks alot Bunny It's all your fault!!!!

Pickles - where do you work? City Bakery is up the block from my job which is why i am asking.

On the free food note - they gave us pizza last week, sundaes yesterday and we had cake, cookies and key limes bars yesterday for weddings/birthday

We have bagels and frozon yogurt every Friday. I can't take it much longer. I LOVE bagels.

Yes! Thats him! He worked at Boulay and he is UNBELIEVABLE!!! you have to get the chocolate tart, it makes you want to cry...

you are going to have a blast at the event! The space is beautiful...I was at the opening last night!!

Oooh I can't wait...what do you do for Danny Meyer....I work on publications for NYC that list all of Danny Meyers spots..I do advertising for them.....I love this area that I work in 18th and 6th your a block away from Loehmanns!!!!

I work for an event/lifetstyle marketing company and we do a ton of food and wine events.. and our boss/Pres here is a big foodie and friends with all the chefs/ restaurateurs, etc.

I just put a concept together for a private dinner at Modern, followed by a private tour of the new MoMa.

ha not yet.. but the client liked it. so, we will be booking eventually.

we do a lot of stuff with Danny though-- I am more on the mtkg/promo side- and that stuff is more events-- I just get pulled in cause there is no one else to do it.

What do you do there? We should exchange virtual business cards..

lol friday is like national donut day...i hate it...I am trying my best not to eat them anymore..or atleast cut down to one lol Sad thing is i work from 4am to 10 am..so eating donuts at that time is like doublely gross!!
